🐘 Kodagu Elephant Rescue Update

After remaining stranded in a plantation pond for nearly two days, the wild elephant has safely walked out on its own. Continuous rain and the muddy terrain prevented the Forest Department from using heavy machinery or conducting a close medical examination.

The elephant is now being monitored inside a nearby coffee plantation for the next 48 hours. If any health issues are detected, treatment will be provided on-site. Once declared fit, officials plan to guide it back into the forest to rejoin its herd.
