" "Oh this looks just like..." and thats it. Your work is no longer yours." reflected so well my exact feelings on the matter.

Comparisons kill artist's authenticity and joy. It happened to me and I always hated it.

"This reminds me of X" is not the compliment you think it is.

AVIERI OPEN SPECIES REFERENCE 2026

Did some Avieri TLC! I redrew some areas while changing a few design elements; the guide should feel much more complete now!

@badC4T Seems to be a recurring thing with furry artists getting falsely flagged, my friend had the same issue posting adopts or sfw ref sheets :( I like to think of it as a compliment that your art is too good but ofc it still messes up your reach djdbdjdb

@Skrunkle_Wunkus Ah, damn. My bad. Sucks to hear that there was more than one doing that in any case. <:(

Update from Matt Frank on Facebook

[RJ Palmer @arvalis]

This guy is also at Dragon Con selling AI images. Personally saw him making a $500+ sale. He isn’t just scamming, he is thriving while scamming. Truly vile work.

[senti @sentientcrafter]

@arvalis I KNEW something was up when I saw that booth. How infuriating. Good thing I was careful about where I spent my money but I feel bad for people who didn't know better.
