The SENTIENT Wave Chaise Lounge is a sculptural homage to the elegance of a cresting wave. Its gently curved wooden base and flowing seat evoke the steady build of water, capturing the grace of a wave just before it breaks
Our Sapience Chair is a balance of formality and comfort. Its diamond-shaped supports rise with strength, while the copper leaf finish adds warmth, catching the light like a quiet ember. Velvet upholstery softens the geometry, inviting you to experience its texture.
The Metamorph Chair by SENTIENT embodies the beauty of minimalist design. With its clean lines and understated elegance, it is an exercise in restraint, allowing form and material to speak for themselves. Wrapped in rich fabric, it seamlessly blends functionality with artistry.
I’m proud to announce that part of the Monster Soup can sales will go directly to @WCKitchen. 💙
I want to share a bit of a personal story about an apple, and why WCK’s work is so important to me. One of the stories that stands out in my childhood is one that my uncle shared with me. During the Vietnam war, my family fled the country on a small fishing boat to escape persecution. They packed as much food and resources as they could on that boat, but had no idea what was ahead of them. Adrift at sea for endless days, with their provisions dwindling, their situation seemed dire. “The sun was relentless” was something he kept saying during his story. Then, one fateful day, they spotted a large ship on the horizon. Mustering their last reserves of strength, they waved frantically for help. To their relief, it was a humanitarian vessel rescuing Vietnamese refugees. Once on that boat, the first thing they gave them was an apple and water. My uncle described it as the best apple he’d ever tasted. As a child, I imagined it was just a remarkably tasty apple, but I later understood it represented much more. That apple was a symbol of hope and survival, a reassurance that they would live to see another day.
Food is one of the few things in life that bring us comfort during times of uncertainty. And as the World Central Kitchen says “a nourishing meal in a time of crisis is so much more than a plate of food—it's hope, it's dignity, and it's a sign that someone cares.”
I’m immensely proud that we will be able to support such an amazing cause through my art. Thank you all so much for supporting my work! 🥂
Today, we're introducing a new way for collectors to participate in PROOF Art releases: Artifacts.
Artifacts commemorate PROOF exhibitions and use the @transientlabs Story Contract to immutably inscribe collector addresses on the token.
The first Artifact celebrates our 'Notes from a Neutron Star' exhibition and has been airdropped to all PROOF Collective members. Additionally, we've randomly chosen 250 @moonbirds who hold a Diamond Exhibition artwork to receive the airdrop. 5 Artifacts were airdropped to the Exhibition artists, and PROOF vault.
Moving forward, collectors will be able to mint Artifacts as part of our ongoing Exhibition series. Each Artifact will have a limited supply and PROOF Collective members will have early access to collect.
Last night, I curated a show of old and new works, installations, physical goodies, and lots of friends and drinks. Thank you to everyone who made it out on a rainy NYC night. If you didn't make it out, here are some of the highlights
🧵
Marfa was everything I wanted it be and more. It was an experience that requires me to add my voice to the resounding chorus of support for everyone who made this past weekend possible. I’m back home with a heart full of inspiration, motivation, clarity, and belief in this artistic ecosystem we are all building together.
This annual retreat stands above the rest. Perhaps one reason is because Marfa is not easy to get to. A flight to Paris is less of a journey from New York. This friction creates a filter- what you are left with is a group of deeply dedicated, here-no-matter-what, kind hearted, warm, creative individuals.
Perhaps it’s the focus on ART as the centerpiece of this gathering of grateful creators and patrons, that keeps the joy of creation at the top of the mind. Its a place devoid of the darker sides of our space- no flippers, no speculation, just ideas and intersections of all the various types of people who work to bring these ideas into reality.
Perhaps, most simply, it’s the people who comprise this niche inside a niche of a community. The people who build and attend this weekend are deeply committed to the ideals of art on blockchain, but even more importantly, they are deeply committed to an even more root level ethos- of kindness, inclusion, open knowledge, humility, experimentation, and the forever North Star of “good vibes.”
If you could embody that ethos in a person, it would be Snow Fro, @ArtOnBlockchain, though I'm sure he will reply to deny such an accusation 😂. But to those that know him they know what is true. Thank you sir for all you have done to encourage and inspire artists like me.
To the entire @artblocks_io team- never stop pushing, you are and have always been on the right path. I won't miss one of these weekends. To the @glitchmarfa team, the de facto hub of my favorite activations like @toadswiback and the @TransientLabs Flea Market, thank you for your daily and nightly hospitality (shout out to @derekedws for the energy you put into all of this too). To the @proof_xyz fam for once again elevating our experience and connections, thank you. Another huge thank you to @redbeardnft who masterminded our trip even though he couldn't attend this year (you were missed and present in every conversation, you can ask around if you don't believe me 😘 ).
Thank you as well to the local residents of Marfa who welcomed us in to their world, and for creating such STUNNING places to see, eat, drink, and just *be* we do not take it for granted that you let a bunch of squiggle-obsessed nerds flood into your small oasis in the high desert.
I could tag endless friends, new and old, who made this experience so moving and profound, but if you've read this far already I'm sure you know who you are. I'm already ready to book next year, and to those who stayed home this year- do what you can to be there next. You simply won't regret it.
Back from Marfa and @brettsylviafilm and I’s collection in honor of Marfa and it’s enduring artistic spirit, “Marfa: Middle of Somewhere” is officially complete.
I have a lot to say and a lot of people to thank but I will try to keep it concise… 👇
