I am changing @sentriCli name again.
This would be the second time I would be doing this because I didn't want the name to keep sounding the same way with an existing tool on https://t.co/JtUYwbiWAh and NPM.
It keeps affecting users when trying to search it out. There are other security tools with similar name with different abilities.
Starting tomorrow we would kickoff working on the docs and code base till the name change works.
#web3security
It has been a while we dropped an update on the tool.
We have been work on getting it better than before and also extending the arms of security beyond the contract level so as to reach the web 2 users.
Version release later today
Truent just got better.
If you are building anything in the web2 / web3 space and you needed a basic and serious security tool to check your work for a safe MVP, Truent is your go to tool.
The new version would be out later today.
Follow @sentriCli for update.
The new name of Sentri (@sentriCli) would now be called Truent.
All set up to start working on the code base kicks off tomorrow.
I wanted to use this medium to say an open shout-out to @pashov whose product called pashov audit, looking into the repo shapes how I approached some things in building the v0.4.1 version and you would also see the influence when the web version is our. Thank you so much for sharing.
A few days back, I set out to improve the Auditing tool I built called @sentriCli .
Sentri before then had a static analysis on 4 chains but dynamic(execution-based) fuzzing was EVM only (revm).
So the goal was to expand it to Solana and run programs with it to prove bug fires.
Silently the way I have bent my head in on @sentriCli is worthwhile, I haven't been posting lately on it but the shift is what you would love
More updates comes up soon.
We changed the style of implementation, not just for soroban we do a reapproach to the existing ones for efficiency because of the lapses we recently discovered.
The new release that would put would cover soroban contracts and the existing libraries are now better.
5days ago we updated the libraries and release v0.3 but today we are making another major decision to expand and add new sets of 110 invariants on the soroban contracts based on @BuildOnStellar@StellarOrg based on recent research work on the DeFi platforms on them.
@ddimitrovv22 Understanding what the protocol you are auditing do gives you a foresight you should expect and related attack patterns that could come. Starting on this note is one those ways to kick off
