@dammiedammie35 Three months down the road at a Performance Meeting:
Employer: Your performance is consistently low. We are letting you go.
Employee: Why are you firing a South African?
Shouldn’t demands like these have caveats? Shouldn’t the business be protected to some extent?
@georgenjoroge_ Should we also expect the world to sit us down, try to understand us as it withholds its consequences for our irresponsibility or even the lack of oversight? If the world will use the same approach, we condemn this parenting in the strongest terms.
@georgenjoroge_ When the world is violent on us, beating us up for being lazy, going hungry coz we messed up or sleep on the street because we can’t afford rent, none shows up telling it how unacceptable it’s unfair and traumatizing us. We say it’s teaching. And we take the lesson. Now flip it.

@de_enginiya It could be great if that QR leads to a platform accessible by password by the car owner but only able to access user areas on the platform and not police or government. Giving a bit of control helps to deal with the curiosity I sense here.
@itmsug@de_enginiya Is there agreement between the car owner and the issuer that the information behind the QR code is correct? If an officer randomly claims that the QR info is different from the information the issuer has, how is the car owner liable?
