and this long ass rant was born because I saw an edit saying that Luffy would turn around for the crew. we all know damn well he wouldn't have doubted Hades and most of all he wouldn't have doubted his crew (not even Zoro).
yes he loves them.
yes he wouldn't have turned.
"to love is to look back"
"in Hadestown Orpheus turned back for love"
ah yes, exactly what Doubt Comes In is about. his deep deep love for Eurydice, not the doubt that was growing inside of him: of him being alone, of her not following him, of Hades tricking him.
honestly I'm just so done with all those edits saying "to love is to look back" with Wait for Me. they piss me off so much because all they do is trivialize such a profound point of the story.
if you told me a year ago kim jongseob would perform amnesia live thirst trapping as a bartender in an unbuttoned top serenading everyone and taking shots i would have Laughed In Your Face oh my god. my life is complete 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Vernon on youth
Q: Youth is a recurring theme on this album and generally in the discography of SEVENTEEN. What does it mean to you in this moment of your life?
🐻❄️ : I think youth is meant to be wasted – just the way you want it. Many people have strong opinions about how others should spend their youth. They often act as if you have to feel sorry for making certain decisions. As a result, you can quickly feel constrained as a young person – I know this feeling myself. But honestly, this is completely unnecessary. No matter how you spend your youth, it's never really wasted. You have to make your own decisions and make your own mistakes in order to grow.
