I’ve enjoyed Twitter a lot. I’ve followed interesting people I genuinely like, insofar as that is realistic. I’ve learnt a lot. But now I find it just makes me sad or cross. In reality I don’t need to know anything about Farage for example. So I’m deleting it and I’m glad.

@carolst06m Think kids still do this stuff. My children, now in their 20s did, as I did, now in my 60s and my siblings now in their 70s. And siblings’ grandchildren. We’re encouraged to believe kids’re “different” now but in my experience they’re loveable and enjoy simple pleasures as ever

@LevellingDown @BrexistentialC @cathandfearne The irony is that ULEZ, if I understand correctly, was a Tory initiative and (Tory) Westminster asked in writing for Khan to expand ULEZ. I find that fairly incredible but would love to be enlightened. Hands up if I’m wrong, which I may well be.

@afneil There’s a theory that a Courts bank account is some sort of human right. Farage was offered a Nat West account instead but now wishes to grandstand about Coutts who appear to think their reputation would be better off without him. Whether it’s his finances or views 🤷🏻‍♀️who cares
