India- US trade in services was
about $83.4 billion, with U.S. services exports to India at $41.8 billion and U.S. $ 41.6b.

Total disaster?

India- US defence trade was virtually nil in2000. It has touched a total of almost $ 22 b in2024.

Why this whining?

The claim that we have offered to reduce our tariffs to nothing is true of some products but our redlines are firm.

Economical with truth and trading in falsities.

India is being arrogant! America is not being intolerably arrogant by slamming penalty tariffs on India for buying Russian oil and defence equipment.

This man acknowledges that China is buying oil from Russia too but doesn’t ask for penalty tariffs on China.

He also acknowledges Europe is buying oil. Argues that India as a democracy should bend to US demand.

Europe buys more energy from Russia . It is democratic too. It is all right for that democracy to fund Russia’s war?

US itself is buying metals etc from Russia? Now Exxon wants to go back to Sakhalin. US doesn’t have any obligations of democracy?

It is sheer hypocrisy to argue that high tariffs raised by the US to build its manufacturing capacity, earn trillions of revenues, create jobs is great policy to Make America Great Again but Indian tariffs to protect its most sensitive areas are unacceptable.

US continuing to transfer US arms to Ukraine paid for by Europe is not a recipe for continuing the killings in Ukraine, but India buying oil legally from Russia as a commercial deal is?

This is loathsome hypocrisy.

ट्रेन बच्चे को लेकर रवाना हो गयी. घबराकर दंपति ने रेलवे गार्ड से अपील की, गार्ड ने ट्रेन को रोक दिया।
