Number 1 hack in SEO, and I can't stress this enough:
Give your target searcher what they are looking for ABOVE THE FOLD - BEFORE THEY START SCROLLING.
Right away - none of that 'make them search throughout the page to keep them on site longer' nonsense. Give it to them Right. Away.
Number 2 hack in SEO is to predict what they'll want next, so they won't have to do another search to find it, but can just scroll down on your page and get it right there.
If you do this, you will rank, retain visitors, and convert.
