@whatismusicpod It's a bit long and unfocused, but I've never been one to complain about more Radiohead - their second tier is better than most bands' best. Where I end and you begin is my favourite thing they've ever done. Wish Colin's bassline were in the album version of the gloaming.

@_scowny @cmlowryauthor This. Hit die are kind of the same as rolling for ability scores - gives you a randomised option within set parameters. In many cases you just go with the average, but you might want a bunch of unique enemies, or to take a risk on your PC having awesome/terrible stats

@cmlowryauthor @beyondcataclysm The DMing I'm most proud of is the two-shot I did before this campaign - crashed spaceship with an Alien/the Thing hybrid monster and lots of junked-up time dilation stuff going on. So much prepared material that I didn't get to use, but the story ended up very satisfying!

@cmlowryauthor @beyondcataclysm Well, for our current campaign we rotate the DM (same location and PCs, more of an 'adventure of the week' format), so that helps! We've been hired security for a celebrity goat's motorcade, investigated a haunting at the town theatre, and are handling a worrying mime infestation

@cmlowryauthor No worries, always nice to have someone else to talk DMing with! I found it a lot less intimidating once I started thinking of it as giving you the tools to do whatever you *might want to do, as opposed to rules for everything you *must do
