I will do a little more digging though. I’m still not convinced colors are real though, based on what I’ve learned. But, I do appreciate the new (to me) information you’ve presented

A mantis shrimp has a brain that interprets 16 colors as opposed to a 3 color spectrum we perceive. Different brains determine different spectrums of frequencies to create sight. We invented spectrometers based on our perception of frequencies.

Color is manufactured by the observer through their physical senses of sight and sound waves. You absorb the light frequencies and your brain determines what frequency you “see”. We don’t even see the same tone of “colors”. Try again
