If AI is to evolve, it must evolve with trust, user sovereignty, and transparency at its foundation.
Thrilled to be part of this amazing team at @ASIMOV_Protocol! Building a decentralized, reliable, and sovereign AI is a long-term vision, and I'm excited to play a role in making it a reality.
✨👋 Meet the Team at the ASIMOV Protocol!
Kirill (@septengineering), Head of Security ⚔️, is a prolific blockchain security white hat best known for his work on NEAR’s Rainbow Bridge 🌈, the first trustless cross-chain bridge in the industry.
He led the Rainbow Bridge team for more than two years, first at @NEARProtocol and then at Aurora. Under his stewardship, the bridge was never hacked despite holding billions of dollars in locked funds and enduring a number of high-profile attacks. At the peak of the previous market cycle, the bridge secured over $15B in TVL 💰
Kirill also managed the Rainbow Bridge security bounty program that successfully incentivized would-be black hats to turn white hat. The program paid out a number of significant bounties, including $6M for the second-largest bounty in history. The Rainbow Bridge’s reputation as a hack-proof bridge remains intact to this day 🛡️
Kirill has contributed to many well-known privacy projects at an early stage, including hardware wallets (Ledger, Trezor), Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP) initiatives, a ZK-encrypted video messenger, as well as to Beam, the first blockchain based on the Mimblewimble protocol.
During the past year, Kirill has been focused on building trustworthy user-owned AI at @HaltiaAI, one of the founding members of the ASIMOV Protocol. 👇
My @ASIMOV_Protocol update on the NEAR Town Hall today: a first exclusive alpha leak and early access to ASIMOV Personal Intelligence, a category-defining product akin to an offline-first, P2P, crowdsourced Palantir in your pocket!
@JoshuaJBouw Every government will try to control AI. When people become too accustomed to LLMs, forget how to use other tools and their own critical thinking, that will be the time. Eventually, AI will become yet another tool for control and power. It's up to the people, to what extent.
Every American who believes in the 1st and 2nd Amendments should run their own local AI.
The AI is about to become the state-owned TV. Soon, all the governments will have that one "honest AI" curating everything that is: safe to know, safe to think, safe to do. Own your reality before open-source models become “a danger to the state”.

And they’re asking ground crew for help because they have two versions of Microsoft Outlook open and neither is working
This scene is now canon 😭
@thefrankbraun At a recent conference, I heard a speaker seriously talking about anti-AI, anti-survelliance, and anti-tracking makeup as a response to this 😅
The shift of power from defensive technologies to offensive technologies has toppled entire societies.
Currently we are witnessing a massive shift to more offensive surveillance tech (AI) while defensive privacy technologies are severely lacking.
Really concerning.
Spin up your own Calimero node in minutes🚀
In this first dev episode, we walk through installing and running a local merod node step by step.
We think it's cool.

Let's use technology to build Liberation protocols. Every product should have privacy baked into it by default.
Also, you can see that this guy codes. Every conference he puts a little bit weight on, but privacy is important and somebody has to build it.
Support us for two greater goods, that every human will have the right to privacy and that our CEO finds some time to go back to the gym.
My @ASIMOV_Protocol talk and demo last night at our #OpenSourceAIWeek event in SF:
Take a whirlwind tour inside the hybrid multimodal memory of a neurosymbolic machine intelligence as it's observing the room and constructing a real-time knowledge graph to represent & connect the people, objects, and activities that it sees and hears!
It's Open Source AI Week here in the Bay Area 🇺🇸
Honored to be sharing a stage with @Scobleizer, @Cameron_Dennis_, and @alexocheema this Wednesday! Come join us showcase the future of self-sovereign machine intelligence on October 22 at 5 PM in SF!
Want one reason on why hosting your nodes and using P2P apps is better than centralized service providers?
When more than half of the Internet goes down in events like this - you are fine.

If you are asking yourself what is coming next from us?
TEEs - so users don’t have to to run their nodes and still have privacy, JS SDK - we love Rust, but reality is majority of people want JS, App Registry - so you can deploy or find your favourite apps and much much more.
In an era where governments wield control over our digital lives through surveillance and data mandates, the reality is: masses are not aware of the problem. This is reminder for you to care, because true freedom starts with owning your data, not handing it over to Big Brother.
