When Jesus taught us to pray, He said:

“Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.” Matthew 6:9

“Hallowed” means holy, set apart, reverenced. It’s a call to lift up the Name above every name, the One who is pure, righteous, and good.

But the enemy has a pattern: he can’t create, so he corrupts. What began as All Hallows’ Eve a time to honor the saints of God was twisted into Halloween, a night that glorifies fear, death, and darkness.

The devil always tries to take what’s holy and make it hollow.

He replaces reverence with rebellion, holiness with horror, and light with lies.

Yet the people of God carry the true power of that word Hallowed.

When we say, “Hallowed be Thy Name,” we are declaring:
“Lord, my life will honor You. My house will be set apart for Your glory.”

Even when the world celebrates shadows, we shine light.

We reclaim what’s holy. We lift up the Name that darkness can’t stand.
