I hate to say this, but honestly I prefer Lloyd before he drank the Tomorrow’s Tea and before he was taken in by the ninja. Lloyd back then really felt like Lloyd. He had his own distinct personality

This would make Lloyd a much better written character. Feeling like his identity was overshadowed by being the Green Ninja makes sense, especially since he grew up at Darkley’s, where his talents weren’t nurtured, and missed out on years of his life

Honestly, I didn’t like Kai calling Lloyd his new best friend just because he made his powers more stable. It makes it feel like Lloyd is only someone’s favorite when he’s useful or when there’s some benefit to having him around

For example, when Lloyd grabbed that weapon and before he died, Kai said "never doubt the Green Ninja"

I feel like even when Lloyd does things like this it’s the Green Ninja who gets praised instead of Lloyd himself. Like, the Green Ninja is Lloyd. He’s the one doing all of this
