@chicoxyzzy Would it work with `bare`?
https://t.co/7ZbarUXGYY
If you scroll down to "Build a bare runtime", you'll see it can swap out v8 for quickJS or JavaScriptCore, etc..
Could it work with Cynic?
@chicoxyzzy love it, with one exception: `with` statement. would you reconsider that?
combining with and proxy actually has a use case for isolating code and is used in `ses`, so would you consider allowing that at least maybe as an opt-in option?
People pushing vertical common sense over horizontal process are prats https://t.co/Aom6HwGodx But they’re not just individual “prats”, there our prats – they’re the default outcome of how most people have been trained to think and act.
@mbauwens There is one issue though.
The ones losing power leverage the money printers and centralized control over communication infrastructure to flood the space with so much noise, that costs for listener to distinguish signal is gets high. The intermediaries fill up most of the space
long session with Cursor after many headaches Cursor itself could not help with but it improved both README and JSDoc TS
all I am saying there's nothing strictly vibe-coded but results so far are the desired one: I'm happy!
Now that JS is done: Python 🐍

@rikarends@wizardamigos i think it just needs a smallish trusted base ... e.g. leveraging sel4 and various different pieces to make that "bullet proof" secure to run many specialized LLMs inside, connect ppl p2p and let their agents cooperate to create sokething bigger 🙂
@wizardamigos@rikarends yes. and once we have that, the power of the machines of all of us having agents controlled by different individuals cooperate to create something that can outcompete centralized ones, because those are also just multi agent system running on a distributed cloud, but centralized
@rikarends imho open source is not gone.
you can use LLMs to help with the production of open source and even though the process of creating it is not transparent, the results are and are useful.
@TheGuySwann@Birch2124@Apple Nothing beats the "Lenovo Thinkpad + Linux Mint" Combo when you want something that reliably works and you dont want to fiddle with your system imho.
@cguida6@jimmysong@TheGuySwann@Apple If you want one of the most reliable out-of-the-box works everywhere experience, i highly recommend Linux Mint.
I'm using it for kore than 10 years now and i used a lot of random laptops in that time and it always worked flawlessly, but I'd highly recommend "Lenovo Thinkpads"
@R1M5150@SimonDixonTwitt@PeterMcCormack Hey Hey, not sure where or how to reach out to @SimonDixonTwitt but you mention towards the end all you do these days is investing into local communities and I wonder if you could share more information about that.
A small update on the ongoing The Secret of Monkey Island project on the Commodore 64 in collaboration with with Andreas Larsson
I made a section on my website for this game showing some more graphics and screen recordings from actual game play.
Enjoy.
