@Criptosaurs senna's q proccing onhits at 100% effectiveness and the way most of her fights play out, being burst sequences + having lower attackspeed makes bork superior.

Patch 26.13 Senna Build
If you want to keep playing Senna and dodge her damage nerfs build this
Conditioning & Overgrowth make up for the lost tankiness while building full damage
I recommend even trying Attack Speed + Double Scaling HP shards. If not, AS/AF/HP or AS/MS/HP.
Tear on Senna is just a feelgood dopamine purchase in most games.
@CrownshotLoL and I concluded that in most lanes you dont utilize the extra mana and you end up stunting your build and delaying your first item
Manamune also gets outdamaged and outvalued later on [1/x]
@hostagetheo it's demonstrably the highest damage first item on senna. the item gets a bad rep from getting built with no %pen.

BotRK -> LDR/MR -> if no need for defensive items IE. apart from that i would always try to include defensive items such as maw, mercurial scimitar, randuin's, whatever you might need in the given game. i wouldn't build any zeal items, BT is often unnecessary, more than 3 or 4 damage items with no defense is usually redundant
@Criptosaurs I think helm got over-defaulted to since its the easier/more forgiving starter. In lanes where you want helm, such as vs pyke/camille or strong melee lanes i think helm is still good, synergizes well with conditioning overgrowth, but i think in most cases Dblade is better
Cleaver second is still good, especially if you need the hp and have multiple physical dmg teammates. My gripe with cleaver is that often patterns in soloq; fights and trades are so burst heavy, where you would only have cleaver stacked after the interaction is over, and you miss out on a lot of damage. the item is still very good
if you isolate 7 ad as 7 ad it doesnt matter whether a champion gets ad per level or not. you can also isolate certain fights on her breakpoints and calculate how much damage she'd miss out on if she was 10 souls/ 7.5 ad down. if she does 10 autos in a fight its 75 damage pre mitigation at minute 20. the longer the game goes her soul accumulation is less driven by her own farming. it obviously has its effects on her damage, but you would need to quantify roughly how much it is, and whether it affects the champion's viability.
Why Senna soul rate adjustments are mostly cosmetic; nerf contextualization
Do 5 to 10 souls at 20 make or break the champion?
Whenever Senna bot gains any popularity and or strength the immediate reaction from Riot is to adjust her soul drop rate on minions she kills, and the community usually responds to the nerf as if it makes or breaks the champion, but what does it actually mean?
In patch 26.13 Riot is halving the rate from 10% to 5%, which on paper sounds massive, but what does the change mean once you quantify it?
If we assume Senna has 10cs/min, which is rare for the champion, especially in SoloQ, the nerf means that she gets 10 less souls at minute 20, which only really impacts her range thresholds and at best means -7.5 ad at minute 20.
People don't realize how little of Senna's total soul count actually comes from minions she farms, and how nerfs like this can literally be emulated through having a rough early game.
As for the other nerfs this is where you can argue that they hit Senna way more, especially worse Sennas that rely more on their Q healing, the shiv CD refund obviously hurts. The crit damage nerf only really starts impacting her current build of Shiv Cleaver Manamune/C44 at 2.5-3 items.
If you are willing to play a less safe, more damage oriented version of Senna, building items such as BotRK -> LDR, taking resolve to make up for the lost tankiness, you can essentially play the same champion next patch.
Senna guide with @CrownshotLoL soon.
what do you think is wrong with the bork mention? imo the item itself is misunderstood and built around wrong, especially on ranged champions, due to people not pairing it with %pen early enough. senna also has good interactions with onhits. ive been getting crownie to build it in games he can hit and next patch it should be even bettter
below is the damage test on first item and my super rough base tets on 2 item pairings if you want to have a look at numbers.
@RhaekaRS i personally dont really like lethality items, in testing, due to her interaction with onhits, and how burst patterns usually play out, bork outdid lethality items even in short sequences.
i dont think shiv is DEAD after changes, especially if built second
@BobDbuilder9000 at level 6 you have enough mana for your full kit + a few extra qs. running PoM i never really encounter mana issues. i think needing extra mana mostly arises as an issue when spamming q's when it resets with shiv proc.
@Haljegh yeah then the question is whether the 20 range and the crit chance from the thresholds is actually impacting the game. also considering thresholds are every 20 souls, some games being -10 could end up not even making a difference
@RhaekaRS of course, its just incredibly noob friendly and carriable. its also easier to convince people to follow the same build (dft, helm, shiv cleaver, manamune) without any adjustments. meta and build shifts like this are mostly perception and not merit
@Spideraxe30 i wonder if people will take time to contextualize this nerf. assuming 10cs/min, which adc senna usually doesnt get, this means she gets 10 less souls at 20, a point at which she usually has ~70. the crit% while meaningful takes a while to start mattering. either way still viable
