honoring rene and D means continuing the game they loved.
To the Ateneo Blue Eagles,
Take your time, lean on each other, and when you’re ready, keep playing. Keep fighting. Keep carrying Rene and D with you. We’re behind you all the way
"My message to Ateneo, they should not relent in what they intend to do. And to the teammates, they should continue to play."
"I am encouraging the teammates not to relent in their struggle. And I will be happy if they do." — Elias Adili 🥹💙
@ReyesNovak64643@RioSwift29 Reading comprehension goes both ways. I wasn’t putting words in your mouth. I was simply saying that athletes who weren’t involved in the incident shouldn’t automatically be treated as if they share the blame. Hindi ka ba familiar sa general statement?
@ReyesNovak64643@RioSwift29 Jusko po!! blaming an athlete for a tragedy they didn’t cause isn’t justice. Demand accountability, but direct the anger at those responsible. Wanting answers and accountability is different from hating a person simply because they’re associated with the institution involved.
Just hearing Kieffer Alas and Sam Reyes talk about their Baler experience made me believe that players shouldn't be blamed in that tragedy. I mean they almost died too.
@TheGUIDON “They were not just students, they were victims as well,” a faculty member screamed, as a response to the moderator asking if the public has any questions from Bahay, Espinosa, and Bongo. | @TheGUIDON
