@PhDVoice @PostdocVoice Research isn't a fixed process. Discovery ebbs and flows. Some weeks (and some projects) by their very nature require more time (in bursts).

That said, good planning can almost always reduce time. Almost. So, requiring/expecting a fixed # of hrs is absurd. IMHO

Thankfully with my program, we're provided with a stipend 12-months of the year.
