In 2023 I quit my job to go indie.
I'd been working since 19. Factory shifts. Part-time IT. By 2019, full-time dev.
I told myself I was just tired.
I wasn't.
I was burned out. I just didn't know it yet.
Here's what happened next.
quick summary of what i’ve been up to:
- expert procrastinator, so I had to build a personal site (it was long due actually…)
- did some refreshing to one of my clients site, felt like the landing could be improved so i did, also added 'llms.txt' and some pSEO stuff.
it’s deployed with Railway but the login is not working, i’ll focus on that next
and yeah, all this is on top of my job so not bad
also managed to loose some weight and train quite a bit, so pretty sweet week

- still working on the football analysis project, it’s very interesting and i have an MVP
@ptremblay@levelsio still doesn’t matter…
and is somehow you are profitable and the costs are too big, you can rebuild it with a different stack a in weekend…
All programming languages are the same
They all compile into CPU code when you run them
With AI there is even less difference between them for the programmer
Use any language, it's all mostly the same!
