@becka_newell Becka don't be disheartened. You have a genuine interest in other people and that is not offensive at all! Curiosity, dialogue and genuine interest are essential (unless you want to spend a life with our own clones.)
As a child in the 60's I was coloured. Then I was told to say I was Brown. Next had to call myself Black. Now apparently I have to say I'm "BAME". And all I want is to be able to tick the box that says "BRITISH".
Thank you so much for this @JahnineDavis - this is precisely why I don’t use the term BAME and I cringe every time white professionals use it.
It’s PC language for ‘non-white’ and it lumps hundreds of ethnicities into one homogenous group.

But realistically, if the service is to remain free at the point of delivery we need to manage expectations perhaps?

@monobrow2000 @Keirwales@RCOT_MH@OT_Expert It's a pity that more qualitative evidence of value isn't presented. Especially in mental health where evidence comes in the form of what the NHS decides to measure. And these measures don't reflect what matters to the client.
