@JohnnyDav43136@Castellani2014 > Great kid
He's a self-absorbed "star" who overestimates his ability. If he weren't a yapper, most people would cut him a lot more slack.
> stupid adult blsht tearing down a teenager
When you're a pro making millions more than any teammates, people judge you on the merits.
@BoxScore_FB AP voters habitually overrate SEC teams before the season starts, and inertia keeps them over-ranked for most of the year. On3 showed this trend has existed at least since beginning of CFP era: https://t.co/oxqVhptnby
@rmcculloch09@Flydog92@unaveragefan@WorstOfSleeper Ohio State has been putting one great receiver after another into the NFL, and Jeremiah Smith's stats over his first two years surpasses these guys.
Looking forward to you guys switching to new rationalization that "he's not so great, he just had Julian Sayin throwing to him."
@DylanEveryday@bkoo DJ Byrnes has the maturity and judgement you'd expect from someone who looks like a balding 12-year-old. Still shouldn't have been arrested if Max is correct.
@MiamiCanes1971 The fact that he broke NCAA rules but the NCAA has to wait for a random local judge to decide the punishment shows you how broken the judicial system is, especially at the state level where homer judges advance the interests of their favorite teams. The NCAA can't fix that.
@FishHeadMcGee@BoudiccaFTW@goehring_seth "Having an index of all of your opponents' signs doesn't provide any advantage if there are other teams that obtain some fraction of their opponents signs."
Like I said, no one is stupid enough to believe that.
@FishHeadMcGee@Buck0971@goehring_seth - Michigan is heavy favorite to beat TCU.
- TCU changes signs specifically to cancel Michigan's advantage and beats them.
- Michigan fan: "I don't get how this shows Michigan's encyclopedia of stolen signs was a big advantage before the TCU game."
Really amazing stuff.
@BoudiccaFTW@FishHeadMcGee@goehring_seth Of course it provided a competitive advantage. That was the point of the "procedure." Sending advance scouts (illegal) to video record (illegal) 100% of opponents' signs gave Michigan a complete index of their signs. That's a unique advantage. It's not just a technical violation.
@BoudiccaFTW@FishHeadMcGee@goehring_seth 1) Michigan recorded every offensive *and* defensive sign of *every* upcoming opponent. You want to pretend this is the same as having one team's defensive signs, but you're not that dumb, you're just lying.
2) Whatever signs Ohio State had vs Michigan were obtained legally.
@FishHeadMcGee@goehring_seth You're equivocating between "stealing signs" (how many? across how many games?) and compiling a video index of every sign opponents used. A complete record, which is what Connor Stalions paid scouts to produce, is a bigger advantage than having just some fraction of signs.
@FishHeadMcGee@goehring_seth > One gave no competitive advantage
There are exactly zero Michigan fans who think filming all of an opponent's signs gave no competitive advantage. It's not even cope when you guys say this. You're just lying.
@brettmartzke@AriWasserman Oregon could win the natty this year, making it 4 different B1G champions in a row, and Bama fans would still try to rationalize away the end of SEC dominance.
NEW: Ed Orgeron to @BussinWTB on the SEC paying players before NIL:
“Back then, we used to walk through the back door with the cash. Now, we just got to walk through the front door with the cash.” 🤣

@fredowens03@sandersism@BudElliott3 > No need to cheat
The entire SEC, and a bunch of teams outside the conference, were already cheating. Did you just start watching college football a week ago?
