I’m sitting on a flight from Dublin to Washington, D.C. and am shocked to read the news of the possible murder of Ann Widdecombe.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Ann in London last year. It was a wide-ranging conversation covering everything from her love of her cats to her life in politics and her deeply held Catholic faith.

Whatever people thought of her politics, I found her to be exceptionally kind, warm and generous. One thing that stayed with me was that after the cameras stopped rolling, she stayed for a cup of tea and a chat. It was a small gesture, but one that said a great deal about her.

Cole "passed" well enough in middle and high school on blockers and testosterone after the double mastectomy she was given at 15 that most of her classmates did not know she was female.

But being brainwashed into an unreality validated by her school administration and medical professionals from the earliest age and succeeding in the end to which the child transition experiment was aimed (arresting the development of secondary sex characteristics before they emerge) did not successfully annul the reality that Cole describes here. It surely cannot do so for the rest who don't pass nearly as well as Cole did.

All that can hold it together is repressive state power and a further descent into denial and delusion among those who have sacrificed bodily integrity to join the cult.
