Things are moving on and the changes are settling In. Here’s my initial thoughts :- 👇

I like some of the changes. Rare makes sense in terms of leaderboards. I like playing at super rare level and the unique bonuses

Streaking for me personally has been killed off. I liked playing it at rare and limited but there’s hardly any point in buying rares to play the pro board. Also really dislike the additional steps and how intense it is. Absolutely no desire to spend my whole weekend on sorare so likely won’t be playing them at all

Classic for me is fine. Subs haven’t worked. Having to guess what position will DNP isn’t a proper subs mechanism. For s07 there should be a sub for def, mid and fwd. cards are mega cheap so this doesn’t affect anyone

4 entries aren’t enough in classic. Every year people have more cards. There has to also be a caps version. The amount of entries is truly insane and Sorare were on the right track in some ways with divisions. It was just poorly implemented and didn’t work. There are caps in arena but not on leaderboards, no idea why

The UI is an abomination and one of the worst systems I’ve ever used. Setting lineups is no fun at all. Needs scrapped. You shouldn’t have to remember either what a button means or what the correct next 4-5 steps are to get to where you should go

Sorare for me is going backwards. The games ultra overwhelming. Any time I open up the UI or try to get into another division I can’t. I’m faced with a horrible UI, constant promotions, wheels, flash sales and marketing tactics. The whole ethos of digital scarcity has been lost. I can’t even look at an English league club and see clearly what team it is. It’s gone too far and largely unplayable

The market itself is also a bit of a shambles already. 50 percent credits might work for Sorare but they totally distort the market. You cannot have a situation where instant buys or flash sales are still going for £100-£110 and users are struggling to sell the same in season card already for £70. It’s absolutely crazy

There’s no respect for the market. Classic card prices are largely on the worthless side. Because it isn’t a compelling game

People are just interesting in “gambling” in the wheel, buying a card to win a card.

Crafting looks to have been nerfed a bit too. Over 130k essence spent and I think 1 star pulled. Over and above this the huge amounts of essence and crafting have dumped the market

What do Sorare need to do?

1. Sort the UI
2. Make a usable mobile app
3. Make the game less complex
4. Respect the initial concept more
5. Show more respect to existing users and the resale market
6. Calm down promotions and credits

What does everyone think. Am I alone here?
