@J4TrueLiberty I have said from the start, and still maintain, that if mask wearing had been an advisory, there would have been as much, or more, cooperation from the public. Government mandating it created (continued) a political divide, and made to wear or not to wear a mask a political issue
Follow the Constitution. Read the bills. Stop governing by emergency. End the forever war. Cut taxes & spending. Stop borrowing trillions. No CBDC. Protect free speech. Repeal the Patriot Act & FISA 702. No qualified immunity for government officials. End civil asset forfeiture.
@RealSpikeCohen@AceHardcastle19@SlowToWrite That and when he pushed Congress back to Washington DC during Covid… we’d be living in a different world if he hadn’t done that… I don’t know that anyone else in Congress was gonna make that push
@AlanJSanders@MLiamMcCollum I appreciate that.
I just don’t feel like there’s anywhere for people that really care about the constitution or the proper forms of governance to go… I’m not gonna vote for Democrats… but i’m tired of being lied to by Republicans.
@AlanJSanders@MLiamMcCollum Agreed.
it seems to me like the people that are in Congress toeing the party line are the ones that are doing everything they can to keep their seats … and I think Massie was one of the few in my lifetime that understood the grave responsibility.
So be it.
Have a good night.
@AlanJSanders@MLiamMcCollum What are you talking about?
He’s not the president, he’s a congressman.
His job is to represent his constituents, yes. It’s also to hold the executive and legislative branches accountable, and make sure they don’t lead us off a cliff, and he consistently did that.
@AlanJSanders@MLiamMcCollum This is what I’m responding to… you Said he’s not the same Massie of 2015 or even 2020… I asked how he’s different? But instead of answering that, backing up what you said, you’re changing the topic.
I understand why he lost. I want to know why you claim that he’s different?
@MLiamMcCollum The reality you seem to be unwilling to face is the Thomas Massie of 2015 or even 2020 is not the Thomas Massie of 2025-26. If you cannot see or understand that, it goes a long way in explaining the blind allegiance.
@AlanJSanders@MLiamMcCollum Of course he didn’t vote for it. He wouldn’t have voted for it in 2020 and he wouldn’t have voted for it in 2015 either. Seems pretty consistent to me.
