The stretch is intense. So much more than even three of Soap’s thick fingers buried to the hilt. Every sound gets stuck in Simon’s throat and he actually stops breathing for a second,

And when they welcome their twin babies into the world eventually—teary-eyed, matching rings on their fingers, and absolutely overwhelmed—and get to take them to their home in Scotland, they agree that it was all worth the wait.

In the end, it takes them over a year and a near death experience on Soap’s side, but they get there.
