@yayareiii if the final round is solely luka if i remember correctly, they'll probably make him perform in manners that are so atrocious he'll fall to his ""death"" due to mental tiredness and people will scavenge parts off his body☺️
Is this the right time to confess that I'm an absolute sucker for body horror?
I got literal chills just from the visuals of them having such brutal infected areas wrapped up in frills
This is without even mentioning the overall meaning of what it means to be infected in this au
@maybe_diva Or even just proof of the abuse that the kpop industry makes their idols go through, whether its through sexualization, exploitation or putting idols against each other
@maybe_diva It can actually be taken a lot of different ways, as I've seen people interpret it as loss of innocence, proof of Mizi and Sua's fraying relationship and even having the scene in which Mizi is followed by the zombie used as a rape/sa allegory.
I think Mizi missing most of her facial features is another way to make the audience's projection onto her easier.
You can't be disappointed by the looks of something that isn't there. Instead, you can use your imagination to fill in the blanks and create your desired idol.
mizi is barely cognant. she trips and falls. she can't see, she doesn't respond at all to sua gripping her hand and she doesn't notice sua getting chopped up til the last second. with the way the gem is protruding out her head, it's safe to assume her prefrontal cortex was damaged in her infection and she's not aware.
jesus christ omg using the zombification as a metaphor for the gradual deterioration of their relationship and innocence and still loving anyway, despite how much has changed and how the world around them has sucked out their light and left them a rotten core. my babies :((#ZOMST

also pointing out her body is in tact, the infection hasnt spread past her shoulders. shes a faceless idol: loss of her personal identity and only seen as a body
we were shown sua’s more openly toxic side maybe in ivantill’s mv they’ll show till’s toxic side more openly too. sua and till were never innocent little angels but it would be nice if their toxic sides were shown more openly for some people
zombie stage further pushes alnst's critique of how idol culture turns humans into consumable products. audiences consume only the curated end result with complete disregard for the inhumane processes that produce it, all the while voraciously partaking in the spectacle itself
