I had to defend a friend of mine with autism on Reddit because he posted about anime and kept being harassed as a p*do by two teens.

As an actual victim of CA/CP, this just set me off.

Fortunately they were at least temp-banned and warned.

I've had to deal with this as well and see others have to fend off people screaming every slur you could imagine, just for a fictional universe.

I'm glad people are calling this out more often, but sad that we even have to do it in the first place.
