بصفتي الشخصية، تواصلتُ مع قائد المنطقة الشرقية، القيادي سمير أوسو، بشأن التصريحات المنسوبة إليه من قبل صحيفة «تركيا» حول الدور الإسرائيلي ورؤيته لعملية الاندماج بين قوات سوريا الديمقراطية والدولة السورية.

وأكد أوسو أن ما ورد في الصحيفة على لسانه بشأن هذا الموضوع غير صحيح، نافياً الإدلاء بهذه التصريحات أو المواقف المنسوبة إليه.

وأشار أوسو إلى أن نشر هذه التصريحات في هذا التوقيت لم يكن اعتباطياً، معتبراً أن الصحيفة تعمّدت طرحها في هذه المرحلة الحساسة من تاريخ المنطقة، مؤكداً ضرورة عدم تصديق أي تصريحات تُنسب إليه ما لم تكن موثقة بالصوت والصورة.

Terrible ethnic attacks by nationalists in Syria after a man took down the Syrian flag in Kobane. Despite him being arrested, attacks have specifically targeted Kurds displaying the Ala Rengîn. Swift arrests need to be made to reduce tensions.

The Syrian Government begins its second phase of its war against the Kurdish People.

Moussa al-Omar, a STG individual who belongs to the inner circle of Jolani is holding tribal councils across Raqqah and Deirezzor and explains to tribal leaders that Kurds are not native to Syria.

This is precisely what we have warned about when we stated that a presidential decree is meaningless and can be revoked at any time.

When the Syrian Government holds tribal meetings to align the tribes of Syria with the narrative that Kurds are not native to Syria - then this is why we do not trust the Syrian Government and why we can not simply trust the rhetoric of Jolani.
