Recently, Sesame Street shared a Pride Month post on Instagram that read:

"Happy #PrideMonth from Sesame Street! Join us in celebrating and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ members of our community."

The post quickly generated strong reactions online.

Judging by the comment section, a significant number of parents expressed concerns and dissatisfaction with the post.

The larger question remains: What role should children's organizations play in conversations about identity, values, and culture, and where should parents draw the line?
