Good for me that bike shops are deemed to provide essential services so can stay open, but some seem to think this means that every visit to a bikeshop is therefore, by definition, essential. Please consider what “essential” really means before dropping in.

This is why you shouldn’t buy a cheap bike: you’ll store it in the front garden and in time it will not work. Then you’ll bring it to me and my repair estimate will be more than the bike cost. So you’ll keep it in the garden some more, then throw it and buy another cheap bike...
