He isn't asking her to admire his position, he's telling her that she will stand on the same level as he stands in. That's what makes this scene more touching, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pulling her up beside him as an equal. — removing him breaks the integrity of the main story. these narratives are connected. you can't just pull a thread out without unraveling everything around it

— the creative team put real work, real time, real craft into building him. that deserves respect regardless of whether YOU wanted a 6th LI

— the government complaint that supposedly triggered all this not even related to Valko that file number existed months ago

— if certain lines were genuinely concerning (???) CHANGE THE LINES that's what editing is for you don't demolish a house because one window needs replacing

— the players who loved Valko and engaged with his story in good faith deserve to have their voices weighted at LEAST as heavily as the people who organized a hate campaign before he even launched
