Crail Balcomie Links, Fife, Scotland.
One of Scotland’s most underrated links courses, and a place that deserves a spot on any St Andrews golf trip.
Designed by Old Tom Morris in 1895, Balcomie is proper old-school Scottish golf. Quirky holes, stunning coastal views and plenty of opportunities to lose a golf ball when the wind gets up.
Just 20 minutes from St Andrews, it’s a cracking alternative to the bigger names, and one I’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Fife.
Sometimes the smaller courses leave the biggest impression. 🤝
