A small group of dedicated volunteers who work with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to respond to emergency 999 calls within our local community.

One call for our YAS CFR responder today. A very local callout so FPOS. Our volunteer was able to then spend the next 45mins with the Pt calming them down, monitoring & taking observations until the arrival of the @YorksAmbulance crew. #volunteers #OneTeam #communityservice

One call for our @YASCFR responder yesterday. FPOS but unable to get to the Pt as they had locked their door and no door bell. Crew arrived shortly afterwards and between them managed to get access to the Pt. All was well in the end.

One call today for our @YASCFR who was covering the falls team. Not falls related but was FPOS, took obs & helped stabilise the Pt prior to the arrival of the @YorksAmbulance crew. #oneteam #volunteers #community

One call for our @YASCFR volunteer today who was covering the falls team. They were able to assesses the Pt, take observations & after consultation with the clinical team were able to lift the Pt & leave them at home all without the need for an ambulance #homeisbest #Raizerchair
