“So he got up and went to his father. But while the son was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him.”
Luke 15:20 CSB
@prayerdude@WillyRice I believe the point is that in the next 7 or 8 years, we will pass the 2,000 year anniversary of Jesus giving His disciples The Great Commission
184 baptisms tonight. So many stories…the Vietnam veteran who told me Jesus saved his life and now his soul; the family delivered from a cult group; a man in his sixties weeping; the mother who told me through tears she had prayed for her son and waited 28 years to see this day; a 94 year old woman. God is good. Jesus saves!
@edstetzer Matthew Banther, the Director of Communications at Calvary Church here in Florida has been doing groundbreaking work in this field. Here is a link to an article about it. https://t.co/s3cR5YL049
In a world full of noise,
God came quietly.
In a world full of darkness,
Light was born.
In a world full of conflict,
Peace came down.
In a world full of sin,
Grace arrived.
His name is Jesus.
“Weakness is not something that gets in the way of God using me. But my delusions of strength are. God doesn’t need me to be strong to use me.” @PaulTripp#embraceweakness 2 Corinthians 12:9
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12. So steadfastness in trial shows you love God. How so? By showing you treasure God above the losses.
