While I’m being told that the Bears announcement on Hammond is “real”,
i.e. not a leverage play, a league source told me that the Bears leaving the state is not a done deal. Per source, Indiana is in the lead right now, but “Illinois can still get back in the race,” granted the state has a lot of ground to make up after not passing legislation that would have insured the Bears property tax certainty.

26 years ago today, we beat the Knicks 93-80 in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals to advance to our first Finals.

Reggie Miller led the way with 34 points, 5 3PM, 5 rebounds and 4 steals 😤

Knicks vs. San Antonio which features a big man phenom was the storyline in 1999. Only difference this year is that the Knicks are relatively healthy. Patrick Ewing didn’t play in 1999 and Larry Johnson injured his knee in Game 6 vs Indiana.
