@bfurnas A great example of one major problem in the discussion around regulating "e-bikes" is that the e-bike in this cover photo is a perfectly legal bike sold by RadPower Bikes.
@UrbanCourtyard I love your work and think building housing around the Arch is intriguing, but this location is not a floodplain and your series of tweets here donโt reflect the reality of StL. The original city was built on limestone bluffs (much of which is now the Arch grounds in discussion).
@DanBiancoNYC@OpenNYForAll Double the height = 40 units. Triple the height (same approximate height as the building one block over seen in the image) = 60 units.

@jackmjenkins@USCCB One of your posts came across my feed a few weeks back and Iโm so glad it did. Your work is great and so very much needed. Excited to dig into your book.
You should be outraged about Intro 606 (a bill to require e-bike "licenses") -- EVEN IF YOU DO NOT RIDE AN E-BIKE.
It's an insane stop-and-frisk revival.
The bill would let the NYPD pull over ANYONE on ANY BIKE -- even if they haven't broken the law.
Let me explain...
