I would like to bring to @ConcernedApe 's attention that i have nearly 3 thousand hours of Stardew Valley and I haven't and NEVER WILL, sell my soul to Joja.
@NissanNessan All this was a base to raise the point that maybe several people also feel 'being left aside', and although you understand it as due to the fact you're a woman, this is a trend that has been going and solidified over the past few years... :/
@NissanNessan My AC experience was weird. It's a place with 17.000 people where most people don't even look at others. It's a crowded place with VERY LITTLE social interaction. There's this tense feeling in the air. The only 2 people that actually interacted with me were other Brazi i found.
@NissanNessan Adding to my previous comments, I'm from Brazil (we're culturally a more 'touchy' people meaning it's usual for us to touch the shoulder of someone to get their attention from behind, for example) and i was advised to avoid doing this kind of thing while at AC.
@NissanNessan I've heard similar experiences from other women in the fandom, felt being left aside by men. I believe that we can splice this into two major categories - one group of people avoid women as they're not their interest, and the other is afraid to be misunderstood and 'cross limits'
