1) aspiring vtubers need to come into this with the expectation that this is a hobby or side hustle. people who are able to do this full-time are the exception, not the rule.

2) there is no shame in using a free vroid model or a premade to learn the ropes and figure out if this is for you or not. unless you have a lot of 'fuck you' money, spending thousands on the first model is not a good idea.

3) viewers do help streamers in ways that aren't financial. word of mouth, promoting posts, clipping the stream, and watching to count as a view are amazing ways of helping streamers out. unless this is a fansly degradation stream, there is nothing that turns off a viewer more than knowing the streamer sees them as their paypig. build up your community before building up your bank account.
