Also got into the NIKKE: Goddess of Victory beta. Maybe Azur Lane coomed me out, but the fanservice alone isn't keeping me engaged and the gameplay so far is meh. I might try again in earnest at the full release, but I'm not optimistic. Now waiting for ZZZ and Star Rail.
Tried Octopath Traveler: CotC for about 20 hrs. The honeymoon isn't too bad, but I can already tell its brand of grind isn't for me. Not to mention that the premium currency prices are ridiculous. Uninstalled.
Very happy I can 36* Abyss on my F2P account even when it's more of a DPS check and not about CC and breaking shields like last rotation. I really need to practice my Hu Tao jump cancels more...
I've found the F2P experience to be surprisingly agreeable. Genshin has a reputation of being stingy, but I've found the rate of progress satisfying and the results rewarding. Most importantly, I've been able to collect all the characters I wanted most.
It took 258 days. About 100 of the most recent were dedicated to grinding for the Abyss. Still have some work to ensure future 36-stars, but I'm looking forward to giving some of my neglected, "non-meta" units some attention.
Been playing Guardian Tales since launch, but it's time to quit. It's sad that a once promising game couldn't add meaningful content for almost a year.
Still committed to Genshin. Loving it as F2P. Liking World Flipper, but skeptical it can hold my interest long term. We'll see.
Uninstalled Azur Lane (finally). W14 made me realize that I just didn't give a shit about the game anymore, since normally I'd be psyched to clear new endgame content. I think this is done done.

Finally got her.
Never rolled for weapons before. Thankfully I didn't get screwed. All my primos are gone now, though, so I'll likely have to pay for Yoimiya.
Been playing Genshin again to prep for 2.0. I'm enjoying myself a lot more now that I'm not trying to min-max. I can see myself playing for a long time -- as long as I take regular breaks.
Dropping Genshin Impact. It's been immensely boring for a while. Haven't played in a week and haven't missed it at all. Great character designs and good-but-snail-paced story can only go so far. Still loving Guardian Tales, and, for some reason, still playing Azur Lane.

I'm really enjoying Operation Siren. It makes Azur Lane feel a little more like a game than just a waifu collector. I'm usually afraid of large updates to old games since such changes often alienate me, but this feels innovative while also familiar. Props to the devs.
