Btw, I don’t care that they were paying guys or buying cars/houses. Good I wish FSU did it more! I just think trying to lie about that and then preach down to everyone about how it’s gotten out of hand because it leveled the advantage is disingenuous. Own how you did it!
Well yeah man—if a dictator was trying to preach to me about world peace, he would be right but he’s not a reliable source.
Right message but the messenger matters. He was paying guys at Bama, full stop. He benefited from cheating (at the time) I think he should own it
Sometimes in life you have to just look at a trend and decide to not participate.
That was TikTok for me, I hope it’s the soaked pineapples for a lot of you 😭
1. If you come into the store on the phone, I’m not going out of my way to ask if you need help. If you need help, hop off that call and I’ll be glad to.
2. You don’t get to be rude as a customer without getting it back. I’m sick of people out here acting like assholes.
Fix it
I love that straight edge guys are like NOTHING! IS! EVER! GOING! IN! MY! BODY! EVER! except PEDs which I will be putting in my body actually very often now because I do steroids, but of course that does not break my sacred vow. I am more disciplined than you :)
@GrantNoelsGhost I don’t disagree there, I just don’t think with how it’s set up now that all college athletes are free from criticism. Was Kevin Durant not heavily criticized for joining the Warriors? LeBron is STILL criticized for the “decision” I just think the old guardrails don’t exist
I don’t think in this era of college athletics you have to always “respect” someone’s decision. These players are getting paid like pros, you can understand it but the former obligation to respect it because they’re “kids” is kind of gone.
They’re not devoid of criticism
This doesn’t mean you get to be an asshat but this is a new era. I’m all for players getting paid but with that comes a new level of criticism because collectives (fans) are the ones footing the bill. It’s different than 30 years ago, hell even 4 years ago.
Again— a lot of these players are paid athletes now. While I don’t think there’s a reason to be cruel, we can’t lob them ANY criticism? Is Kevin Durant, Jared Goff, Mike Trout also free of criticism too or is it just college softball players?
People talk poorly about athletes on the BIGGEST STAGE OF COLLEGE SOFTBALL from the comfort of their own home, and then wonder why there’s a mental health crisis in college sports? Hmmm…
I used to take the big job after building Georgia State, win a natty or two at the P5 and then go back to like New Mexico State or Hawaii for shits and gigs
