Kindergarteners can code at SBE! Check out our friends in Ms. Sistla's C-Lab special using the iRoot robots from our Forsyth County Education Foundation grant. These students used block based coding to create 2D geometric shapes to reinforce standards in math. #KinderCanCode

A special congrats to one of our 3rd grade stars, Presley, who was the winner of the FCFD Fire Safety Poster contest in the electrical category.
Her class received a visit from firefighters, the K9 Hallie, and a special tour of the fire truck.

We have several families at SBE that face the challenge of a child living with a rare disease/ genetic disorder. Today, our students and teachers wore "jeans for genes" to help raise awareness for rare genetic disorders and diseases. 👖4️⃣🧬💙
