Kinda wild how much room they are giving it.
To me, Diaz’s check swing was a very obvious swing from what I’ve understood the rule to be since I first became a fan in 1999.
The Yandy Diaz strikeout to end Game 2 would not have been close to a swing under the review system they've been testing in the minor leagues

Have thought it might not be political with him?
I’ve talked with Matt many times, and he has been very adamant that he’s not a political person and that Turning Point is about his faith.
I actually have never seen a video of him saying something political, so if someone has that, I would love to see it for my own knowledge.
I’m not saying you have to agree with him, and I do agree that Matt’s people could help him read the room better given that he doesn’t have social media, but if he’s doing something for his faith, not politics, is that something we can really judge him for?
I’m all for teams doing whatever they fan to create a home field advantage, but the Brewers putting an ad behind home plate promoting a website telling fans to boo the Padres’ starting pitcher is a little classless imo
Jed Hoyer, at his end of year presser: "I did a poor job on the bullpen this year. Full stop. The guys we acquired this winter didn't produce nearly as well as a year ago."
#Cubs runs scored in their postseason games since the 2017 NLCS
2017 NLCS - 2, 1, 1, 3, 1
2018 Wild Card - 1
2020 Wild Card - 1, 0
2025 Wild Card - 3, 0, 3
2025 NLDS - 3, 3, 4, 6, 1
2026 Wild Card - 0, 1
So that's 18 postseason games in that span...they've scored more than one run in only 8 of those 18 games and only scoring more than 3 runs in just 2 of those 18 contests.
I know the Padres’ pitchers have been good, but are we to the point where we think Pete might not be mature enough (mentally) for the playoffs yet?
