I used to wait for the “perfect” kitchen setup.
Perfect lighting.
Perfect camera.
Perfect background.
Meanwhile, creators on TikTok were blowing up with just a phone and natural light.
So one day, I stopped waiting.
I recorded with what I had.
Posted it.
No overthinking.......👇
There is one my friend that was told she and her boyfriend were not compatible when the guy's family prayed about their relationship
They said the guy will marry another person ,that he's not meant to be with the girl
But instead of splitting they decided to have a bable to shut their parents off.
They did their wedding after they gave birth to their first child and they later gave birth to two more children
After thirteen years they later separated.
The guy is married to another person who already has two children for him.
What do you think happend
Do you believe in prophecy ?
I witnessed real love yesterday.
I got to a keke junction and saw a crowd. Out of curiosity, I moved closer.
A grown man was on the floor… crying, wailing, holding his wife’s legs.
People thought something bad had happened.
Then we found out why.
It was his birthday… and his wife had just paid off the remaining ₦900,000 balance on his keke.
She just collected her contribution, arranged with the keke owner, and cleared everything.
The owner came to the park and handed over the documents right there.
The man couldn’t hold himself, he broke down completely.
Other keke riders started spraying the woman money.
There was a time I worked with one of the top logistics firms as a Data Analyst. We had this truck driver, a Yoruba man, who regularly enroute the East to Lagos.
One night, while heading inward Lagos, around Ore, he withnessed a man fell down unconsciously on the road, at the precinct of d£ath. Without hesitation, he parked his heavily loaded truck, came down, and performed CPR to resuscitate him.
After reviving him, he placed the man in his truck and drove him to our nearest outlet in Benin. From there, the office contacted the man’s family, who arrived before the next blink of an eye, took him to the hospital. 3 days later, the driver received a call from the family. He feared the worst, with a covert thought that the man might have passed on, but instead, they arrived our office to express their gratitude.
In an unusual reward of events, the man gave his daughter, who was then a undergraduate student of Enugu State university in marriage to the driver, pending when she graduates, today, they are happily married with two boys, all now settled in the UK.
An act of kindness has a way of always coming back to you in ways you never imagined, sometimes changing your life completely.
Even for a lawyer, prison is not a comfortable place to visit. When I was doing legal aid in Kebbi, the inmates could not even speak English. You need an interpreter who would translate your English to Hausa for him, and translate his Hausa to English for you.
The horror in Northern prison? Blood of Jesus! I don't know where to start from, but e better make you just kpai
This my friend went to visit her online boyfriend last weekend. They met on Facebook and had been dating for six months. She left Ilorin for Lagos to see him.
When she got there, she noticed he wasn’t as excited to see her as he used to be on the phone.
He took her to a hotel, chatted with her for a bit, and then apologized, saying he couldn’t continue the relationship.
She asked why, and he told her that she wasn’t the type of body he wanted and that he didn’t want to waste her time.
The next day, he paid her for her time and bought her a few gifts.
They broke up.
😭😭😭😭😭Ahhh God
My Goodness please run to the A and E o
I had a cousin who once swallowed Udara seed, that’s how three days later he started complaining of stomach pain and the family thought it was normal, went to hospital, nothing was wrong, but he stomach started getting bigger, then one day a small green shoot started coming out of his navel.
That’s how they had to take him to the village and plant him in the soil and now he is an udara tree😭😭😭😭😭🤧🤧🤧💔💔💔😩🥺😞.
When I was about to begin my second Masters in UK, I saw this fine 9ja babe in the class WhatsApp group. She had some questions as she just came into the country and I messaged her directly to guide her. That was how we started talking..
She came to my place and we talked about 9ja, life in UK and I sorted out some of her issues. Then she left. One week later, my mother called me. “Do you know XXX? She is in your city and even attends your school now.” I answered in the affirmative. That she was in my class sef. My mother then said, “Thank God I called before you people commit abomination. That is your cousin ooo. You know my cousin XXX, that is her daughter.”
I messaged this babe and told her what my mom said. She was like who is your mom? I told her and werey said “Aunty XXX is your mom? Wow. Senior Brother, Senior Brother!”
Na so I take turn senior brother for UK. “Your sister need money ooo,” “Wisdom, shebi you cook? You dey always get food. I dey come carry one bowl.”
It was really good having family around.
I never believed when people said “Nigeria will eventually happen to you”… until now.
I passed my Nursing Council exams in May 2025, but my name was mistakenly written as “Ibrahima” instead of Ibrahim on the portal.
Since then, I have paid for correction of name and followed up for months through my school, and our school focal person has contacted the council ICT team multiple times yet, the issue is still unresolved.
Now with the new NMCN portal, the problem has even worsened:
- My portal shows I did Public Health Nursing (which I didn’t).
- My exam number was altered.
- My name is still incorrect.
Because of this, I cannot obtain my practicing license, and I was fired from my workplace. I have lost several job opportunities after attending interviews with NGOs like Action Against Hunger, Médecins Sans Frontières (@MSF), and the International Rescue Committee(@RESCUEorg)
I also plan to further my education, but this license issue has completely fcked up my progress.
Please retweet and comment until this reaches the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria so this issue can finally be resolved. 🙏
A simple correction of my name is all I have been asking for since May 2025
The first day she ever slept over at my place, I left for work and she stayed behind. When I came home, she was in the kitchen cooking. I walked into my room and everything was spotless. She had cleaned the house, done my laundry, and then served me a plate of food.
I remember thinking to myself, women like this still exist?
She’s beautiful, successful, and well put together, so it surprised me even more that she still carried that traditional femininity and warmth.
Six months later, I proposed to her.
We’ve been married for five years now, and nothing has changed. She still cooks, keeps the home peaceful, and never brings unnecessary stress into my life. She lets me relax, play my video games, and watch sports. She even started watching soccer with me and reminds me when my games are on.
Peace in a man’s life is priceless.
I wish every man out there a safe journey in finding a woman like her. I know I did. And I’m never leaving my wife. She’s South American.
I want to share a story. I have probably only told one or two people before.
It was 2019. I was building Nord, I owned 100% at this time, and I had to go to China because some of our important suppliers needed to see me and discuss the way forward. I had spent months selling my dream to them, yet there was still no significant order. I had to fly to China to buy more time. However, I did not have enough money. I was very low on cash. Yet I knew that if I did not go on that trip, the suppliers would see me as unserious and the company would slowly just collapse.
I have a good friend who has always been inspired by what I do and my accomplishments. He expressed interest in investing in Nord and I suggested that we visit the suppliers in China together. My plan was simple. I would pay for my flight and we would share a room where he would cover most of the room cost, while I showed him what we could do with our supply chain.
He lives in London and I live in Nigeria. We were supposed to fly and land almost at the same time, although he was scheduled to arrive a few hours before me.
A few hours before his flight, he called me to say he could not make it because of a logistical mix up. He told me last year, in 2025, that he actually had a serious medical emergency and might have died if he had not been in the UK where he was comfortable and had access to care.
At the time, I did not know this. He did not tell me it was that serious. I simply felt he had abandoned me once the scale of the investment became obvious to him. Still, I was kind on the phone and told him it was okay. He remembered that.
My already difficult but important trip suddenly became much more difficult, but I knew I still had to go.
I flew to China and landed alone.
We had initially planned to stay in a $100 per night room which we would share. Of course, I could not stay in a $100 per night room with my budget anymore, so I told my Chinese partner and friend to find me a really cheap hotel that was still close to town.
He took me to one hotel that had a horrible smell. It was going for $25 per night. I was going to take it until I saw that the toilet was a pit toilet.
I said, “No, e never bad like this.”
I asked him to find me a hotel with a normal toilet. He took me to another one. The smell was ok, it looked neat, and it had a normal WC. It was $40 per night. I took it.
I stayed a few days in Guangzhou, then took trains to other cities where my suppliers were located, staying in hotels that cost about $35 to $40 per night.
A few days before my return, I had to visit an important supplier in a city that required a flight. I had to call Nigeria and asked that they send me some change I put somewhere. I think about $150 was sent through Western U. I used it to buy the flight ticket, attended the meeting, and then returned to Guangzhou for the last two days.
When I landed back in Guangzhou, I had almost no money left. I probably had the equivalent of about $5. It could not buy anything meaningful, but I kept it just to convince myself mentally that I was not completely at zero.
Psychologically, I was very low.
The hotel had complimentary breakfast. That was what I would eat in the morning, and then I would go the entire day without eating. I would drink water all day and go for my meetings while my Chinese friend drove me around.
He did not know I was that low on cash.
Some days we would get complimentary lunch from the suppliers we visited. On other days, we did not.
I just maintained an outward positive attitude even though I was tired and hungry, honestly I was just waiting for the day of my flight so I could finally return to Nigeria.
On the day of the flight, my friend found a way to get me to the airport (that is a story for another day, as that was the day he suspected I was really low on cash).
As usual, I had eaten only breakfast, and the flight was at 00:50 am. I was hungry and tired, I could not buy anything while we waited to board.
We met and exchanged numbers at University of Suya Allen Junction Ikeja.
Each time I called her she's always like "my market arrived, we're offloading...
We have to offload by 3-4Am because of police...".
I thought she's kidding or into some illegal stuff because I used to hear voices.
One day she invited me to her 'office'.
Without minding, she's comfortably seating on a dirty sack, her face and arm smeared with charcoals.
She's a big dealer on charcoals.
I found beauty in the unlikeliest of places.
The second day after everything happened, I saw something that really broke me.
My friend opened her cupboard with a key, and I saw their foodstuff neatly arranged inside. So while everything I brought had finished, they had their own supplies locked away. I was too shocked to even react.
The first day after the fight, she offered me food. After that, nothing. I didn’t have access to anything , not even garri. The first day, I didn’t eat at all. The second day, still nothing. I couldn’t even call my mum because what would I say? How do you explain that you left a full Ghana-must-go bag of food in a house and now you’re starving?
I was so hungry I almost begged them for food, but I swallowed my pride.
Luckily, my boyfriend at the time came around and met me looking weak, almost collapsing. He kept asking what happened and then said, “Didn’t I warn you about these girls?” And the truth is, he did. But I always defended her. I would say, “She’s my childhood friend.”
He asked me to come with him, but I couldn’t even walk properly, so he carried me on his back. He took me to the place he shared with his brother and explained everything. Immediately, his brother packed a small bag and left the house so I could stay there.
My boyfriend went out to buy food for me. I was so weak I could barely eat.
The next day, he followed me back to the house to pack some of my things, and we left. He even packed a small bag and stayed away so I could have the space. For three weeks, he showed up every day with food, checked on me, and made sure I was okay before leaving again.
Throughout those three weeks, my friend never once reached out to me. Instead, she kept telling her uncle and other people that I was the problem. Nobody ever bothered to hear my own side.
Eventually, my church pastor helped me get a single room in one of the elders’ houses, and I moved there.
About two years later, I was doing well for myself. I had moved to Tanke, close to Unilorin, and I made sure she never knew where I stayed, even though she kept asking.
One day, Biggie messaged me on Facebook to apologize. Later, I found out it was because things had turned on him too , the same people set him up and everything scattered. I forgave him. Honestly, I had already forgiven all of them.
Then in 2023, everything came full circle. People finally saw Deborah for who she truly was, and my former friend was warned never to allow her into the house again. She tried to reconnect with me. She apologized and even asked to see me, but I didn’t allow it.
And as for that test I missed? I never failed it. We had another one later, and after exams, I passed.
Till today, my friend keeps asking everyone including my mom for my contact but I gave specific instructions that nobody should give her. This same person protected her elder brother when he was sexually assaulting me, story for another day.
I went through all of that in the hands of someone who had been my friend from primary school.
i went to the gym after one small quarrel. You know, the kind of quarrel that qualifies as cardio.
I came back home, minding my business, and casually entered the bathroom to freshen up… and boom.
Madam had left the pregnancy strip there like an exhibit in a museum. No announcement. No speech. No drumroll. Just vibes and a test strip. I checked it, and I smiled.
And honestly, even as a gynaecologist who has seen thousands of positive pregnancy tests, this one hit different.
Very different. Premium positive.
Then I screamed:
“THIS BABY DID NOT EVEN ALLOW US ENJOY THIS MARRIAGE OOOO!”
One month into marriage.
ONE MONTH. 😃
This child said:
“No honeymoon. No peace. Report for duty.”
I went to gym angry…
I came back promoted to fatherhood. Life has a wicked sense of humour.
We hugged each other and smashed the quarrel. I made a special english dinner for us... was such a night.
