I've been quiet for a while an interesting while. After an amazing 30+ months @ayahq_ impacting the African web3 ecosystem, I took a step back. During this time, I've engaged in deep introspection and self-appraisal. Coming to terms with my weaknesses and blind spots has been a humbling experience, and I'm grateful for it.

It hasn't been all zen and namaste though. A casual conversation in Kilifi, Kenya sparked a thought process that led to something quite interesting. Throughout my career, I've worked on diverse projects: building luxury smart homes and deploying enterprise network architecture in Nigeria; developing coffee and avocado traceability using decentralized ledger technology in Tanzania; growing the on-chain builder economy in Africa; and building market-ready MVPs in 8 weeks at Velocit8 There have been countless learnings, setbacks, comebacks, and triumphs.

Today, I'm working on my most ambitious project yet—it's both scary and exhilarating. Over the last two months, a team of brilliant developers has come together to turn my ideas into reality, and it has been an incredible journey. We've received support from ecosystem leaders who've provided valuable feedback and guidance. We're planning our launch campaign for June, when we'll share more information about the platform.

I believe there's immense potential for transformative change in Africa, and we've found a way to lay a clear path to success for those who follow. For those willing to try, there will be visibility and support. For those who build, there will be incentives and funding. For those who execute prudently, there will be recognition and impact. What we've created is simply a tool to propagate this belief.

@aproko_doctor @AXAMansard Because tell me why I go to the hospital with a wound that needs treatment and the doctor, instead of sending me to a nurse to deal with the wound, is asking me to do a full blood count test? For what?

@aproko_doctor The one I know is that there are HMOs that are practicing the dark arts. @AXAMansard increased my premium by almost 50%. I only treated malaria once and wound dressing for an injury. My wife had CS and the next year they increased it by almost 250%. No explanation.

A good day to say, by the end of the 2026, there is no program you want to host in the web3 ecosystem; conference, residencies, hackathon, pop up cities etc that we will not have facilities to host at @Web3Bridge in Ikorodu.

One of the hardest lessons 2025 taught me is that in a lot of emerging markets, informality is tolerated, sloppiness is survivable and good enough is usually celebrated. So the marginal value of precision is low.

But in markets where survival is ubiquitous, solving money problems in any and every way and form will always be attractive because the urgency signal is very high.
