I strongly condemn the coordinated attacks reportedly carried out by political thugs in Ile-Ife, Ede, Osogbo, and other parts of Osun State yesterday. Reports indicate that the attacks were allegedly carried out by APC thugs led by individuals such as Asiri Eniba, Akinkunmi Alabi (Ojuyobo), Tola Danger, and others. No political interest or ambition is worth the bloodshed, fear, and suffering inflicted on innocent citizens. No political ambition should ever come at the expense of the safety, peace, and well-being of the people.

I call on the President @officialABAT, the National Security Adviser @NuhuRibadu, the Inspector General of Police @TunjiDisu1, the DSS @OfficialDSSNG, and all relevant security agencies to urgently investigate these incidents and take the necessary steps to prevent any further breakdown of law and order. Those found responsible for instigating, sponsoring, or participating in violence must be held accountable in accordance with the law.

I also urge all residents of Osun State to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding despite these unfortunate developments. Security agencies should strengthen surveillance and protection in vulnerable areas to safeguard lives and property. My thoughts and prayers are with those who were injured, and I pray for their speedy recovery. May God continue to preserve the peace, unity, and progress of our beloved Osun State.

Yesterday, I inspected the ongoing construction of the Molak–Oke-Olufi–Itaakun Road in Ikire, a key infrastructure project of the Osun State Government aimed at improving transportation, easing movement, and boosting economic activities within the community.

I am impressed by the pace and quality of work on the project. Given its strategic importance, the road will enhance connectivity, support local businesses, and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of Ikire and its surrounding areas.

I commend the Osun State Government for its commitment to delivering people-centered projects and fulfilling its development agenda. I also encourage residents to continue supporting the government and cooperating with the contractors to ensure the successful completion of this important project for the benefit of all.
