Today, the Armenian people celebrate Christmas. In the evening, liturgies are held in the churches.
Armenians were the first people to adopt Christianity as a state religion in 301 AD. We belong to the Apostolic branch of Christianity.
Marry Christmas ❤️

As we mark Armenian Christmas, let us commit ourselves to the task of ensuring Artsakh's Armenians are once again able to freely celebrate this Holy Day in their ancestral homeland – as they have for over 1700 years.

Azerbaijan is still scrambling to do damage control after the US State Dept added AZ to a religious freedoms watchlist.
Sad to see a religious leader attempt to whitewash AZ's erasure of Armenian Christian heritage.
The world is watching as Armenians are forced to leave their indigenous historic homelands or live under a murderous dictatorship that starved them for 9 months with the blockade at Lachin. UNSC must insist on a peacekeeping mission in Artsakh to protect the local population
Azerbaijani responses to AZ media reports of Armenians fleeing tend to be, "we can't live with them" and "they shouldn't be alive to be able to flee."
Hatred for Armenians is state policy in AZ, and AZ indoctrinates its citizens from birth.
"Integration" was never the goal.
For a over century Armenians shouted “1915 Never Again” in reference to the genocide committed against them by Turkey. Today, more than 100 years later, Azerbaijan is attempting to continue that genocide.
Artsakh as a state will be disbanded. We have been abandoned by the rest of the world, but most notably by the Armenian government.
Nikol Pashinyan is a traitor and the enemy of the Armenian people.
Amidst reports of large-scale Azerbaijani military preparations along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, The European Union Mission in Armenia recently warned about the increased escalation in the region. We call on Canada and the rest of the international community to remain vigilant and take the necessary steps to deter Azerbaijan's continuous aggression against Armenia and Artsakh.

Today marks the birth date of Artsakh’s independence. 32 years of struggle for the right to life, liberty, and freedom. Despite all odds — we’re still here — and we’re not going anywhere.
120,000 people in Artsakh are fighting for the collective dignity of 10 million Armenians. Imagine being deprived of food, medicine, and vital resources for over 250 days — and not giving in to those trying to subjugate you.
Protesters in Washington DC heading towards the White House as they demand an end to Azerbaijan’s inhumane blockade of 120,000 people in Artsakh. They are asking the US government to cut all military support and to impose sanctions on Azerbaijani state officials.
PLEASE REPOST! - https://t.co/LMeYQyIYIM @Artak_Beglaryan and I were on @BBCWorld to talk about the devastating Azeri humanitarian blockade on Artsakh, the need for the Intenational community to ACT by #sanctionAzerbaijan and help bring in UN peacekeepers to avoid #ArmenianGenocide2023. I also spoke about the need for the UK gov’t to pivot from complicity in Genocide to responsibility to avoid it.
Here’s a crazy idea for the “international community” — instead of expressing your “concerns” about Azerbaijan’s attempted ethnic cleansing of Artsakh — actually do something. 120,000 people will die if all you have to offer are words.
Massive rally happening in the heart of Artsakh right now. As an entire ethnic Armenian population — facing the risk of starvation and a humanitarian blockade — hits the streets to protest Azerbaijan’s inhumane blockade.
A protest in front of the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent HQ in Nagorno-Karabakh with a demand to open the Lachin Corridor.
This lifeline has been blocked by Azerbaijan for more than 7 months. No supplies enter. The sole road is banned for the ICRC too.
Statement from the co-chairs of the Canada-Artsakh Parliamentary Friendship Group, @RachaelThomasMP Thomas and @SenatorHousakos on the 200th day of Azerbaijan's illegal and inhumane blockade of Artsakh. #StopAzerbaijaniAggression#ArtsakhBlockade
The "Artsakh Security and Development Front" strongly condemns the international community's neglect of the complete siege of Artsakh. The blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia has resulted in the inability to transport critically ill patients and essential humanitarian goods. This neglect, coupled with the lack of consequences for Azerbaijan's violations of international law, showcases double standards and jeopardizes the indigenous people's safety and their right to self-determination.
We demand immediate action from the Russian peacekeeping forces to unblock the corridor, in accordance with the provisions of the tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020. We call on Armenian organizations, global compatriots, and national structures to protest against the ongoing disaster in Artsakh. Additionally, we urge governments and parliaments worldwide to apply international sanctions against Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani-American Women's Society asks int’l organizations to “undermine Armenia's next environmental sabotage,” referring to the metallurgical plant being built in Yeraskh.
Azerbaijan has been shelling and firing on the site regularly, including today. Very eco-friendly.
