Chocolate chips banana bread recipe

The Ingredients (for 2 loaves):
•4 Ripe Bananas
•75g Oil + 85g Salted Butter (melted)
•4 Eggs
•300g Brown Sugar
•380g Flour
•2 tsp Baking Soda + 1 tsp Baking Powder
•160g Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt
•1 tsp Cinnamon + 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
•Dark Chocolate (78% cocoa) & chocolate chips (measure with your heart 😚)
The Process:
1.Whisk the oil, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth
2.Stir in your mashed bananas and the secret weapon: sour cream
3.Fold in your dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon). Don’t overmix!
4.Fold in the dark chocolate chunks and chips
5.Pour into tins and top with extra chips, a sprinkle of sea salt and brown sugar for that caramelised crunch
6.Preheat your oven and bake for 45 mins at 170°C until golden.

Cooking tips you should know:

-Season in layers rather than adding all your seasoning at once. It gives it a better and more balanced flavour.
-A pinch of sugar can balance overly acidic tomato stew.
-Taste your food as you cook instead of waiting until the end.
-Toast dry spices for a few seconds before adding them to release more aroma.
-Let soups and stews rest for 10–15 minutes after cooking before you eat them, because they often taste even better.
