It’s a turf life! While our brand new turf is looking a little sad without children playing on it, our Kinder and 1st grade students are thriving with rainy day activities. A little rain can’t keep this school down! We’ll see you soon turf!
As our break continues, here’s a look back at how our students and staff celebrated the magic of the season at our annual Winterfest. We hope you’ve been having wonderful holidays with family and friends, and we’ll see you after the New Year!
The Seven Arrows Literary Festival is here! Students are making their wish lists in class today and Tuesday. Shopping opens in the iLab Tuesday afterschool, then Friday night it’s time for our Movie & Pajama Party, where we’ll be screening Elf. It’s a great week to come get Lit!
Another great time was had by all who attended our annual Back to School Night! Parents and guardians met with their children’s teachers and heard in-depth review of their daily schedule and curriculum. So much already happening this school year, and we're just getting started.
STEAM begins each year for our 6th graders at the beach for the immersive oceanography unit. 🌊 🌎
Our students investigate the temperature, density, waves, and discuss how the ocean interacts with the atmosphere to produce our weather. Oh, and they learn to surf too! 🏄🏽🏄♀️
So thrilled to announce the return of Dr. Jane Goodall to Seven Arrows on Sept 28! Nearly three decades ago, Dr. Jane visited with our school founders, inspiring so much of our way of teaching. Now we are beyond honored to welcome her back to inspire a new generation of activists
Our fourth graders collaborated as a class, in small groups, and with a partner to demonstrate their understanding of math factors. They were so excited to share their knowledge in an interactive, student-centered way!

"Create opportunities for boredom by setting up times and places where devices are off-limits. And make sure kids have unstructured time -- even a little bit -- where they can roam the house or the neighborhood without a schedule." https://t.co/wLVp55SQZe
