@_rsheedh_@joaohugopires@camrn_@wllottnwldr i think, when u make a movie whose goal is to be as profitable as possible, making it accessible and mass appealing is the first thing on the vision board
@xelanegomez@canyourememberr@rosew1ther yeah ur fine then, but there genuinely are people who think they are music geniuses because they found a "godly" eq config
@xelanegomez@canyourememberr@rosew1ther even in js rap, rage and trap alone, there's so much difference among songs that using eq just ruins so many differently mixed songs
as an ug fan, their production varies so much that the eq will probably do more harm than good to the vast variety of sounds
@xelanegomez@canyourememberr@rosew1ther That's fine ig, but my point is for different music in general, there isn't a one size fits all eq setting. Something that sounds good for a specific genre will sound terrible for others. And songs among a genre have a ton of discrepancy in the mixing and elements' volumes too.
@canyourememberr@rosew1ther neither should anyone else tbh, unless you are correcting for your earphones/headphones, eq js ruins songs and how they were meant to be listened to
