@Laroquod @DogebertDuck @peter_vagianos @officialmcafee @zawril there is no alt/usd market, generally only alt/btc, dumping for less satoshi to move to bitcoin causes a usd price drop, as usd value relates to satoshi. Trying to help you understand. Not sure how else to explain.

@DogebertDuck @Laroquod @peter_vagianos @officialmcafee @zawril EXACTLY! There is zero effect on bitcoin, because you are just moving money at current price, not actually trading; thus, zero effect on BTC price, and it accelerates the decline of the alt coins

@peter_vagianos @officialmcafee @zawril so we (scared investors) are ultimately to blame. The only correlation is that we see bitcoin drop and panic to save our money, causing the drops in every other coin

@peter_vagianos @officialmcafee @zawril Alt coins are valued in satoshi (partial bitcoin). As bitcoin falls, the Satoshi level of an alt coin must vary to maintain the USD cost. People worry about losing % of bitcoin, they sell, creating a greater loss on the Alt coin (cont’d)
